modifications in an attempt to adapt the resource to the Lebanese context, coordinating
with the World Health Organization focal point and attending coordination meetings to

Main tasks:
- Interviewing patients and assessing their nutritional needs and tolerances, instructing
patients on specific diets, calculating nutritional requirements, writing menus, calculating
diets for diabetic and tube- fed patients in accordance with doctor’s instructions. This is in
addition to helping cancer patients suffering from cachexia choose proper nutritional
supplementation to ensure better nutritional status and psychological well being.
