3. Established in 1997, The Grace Children’s Foundation
(TGCF) is a United States based 501(c)(3) organization
that is dedicated to improving the lives of children
through TGCF’s Children’s Resource Exchange Center’s
(CREC) connective network with an emphasis on Health
Care—medical, surgical, rehabilitative as well as
groundbreaking research and cures—for children in need
globally.

6. THE SITUATION
Millions of children globally
are unable to access vital
resources necessary for their
well being. Many of them
struggle with debilitating but
treatable medical problems.
There is a profound lack of
coordination for finding and
delivering existing resources,
as well as developing new
resources to help these
children in need.
The Need
There is a severe disconnect
between children in need and
those prepared to help them.
The challenge is to efficiently
and systematically connect
any child of any background,
in any place in the world, to
the vital resources they need
for their well-being.
The Challenge
After years of connecting
children, one at a time, to pro
bono and negotiated care
through the Children’s
Resource Exchange Center
(CREC) model, TGCF will
exponentially increase the
number of children served by
leveraging the connective
power of technology, scaling
the solution to the magnitude
of the problem.
The Solution
10. How do we GROW OUR REACH and
EFFICIENTLY and SYSTEMATICALLY
CONNECT ANY CHILD IN NEED, IN
ANY PLACE IN THE WORLD, to the
VITAL RESOURCES they need for
their well-being?
13. THE CREC MODEL ONLINE
In order to exponentially increase the number of children served and
significantly expand the network of resources, TGCF is developing a
website incorporating the CREC model.

CREC
WEBSITE
The CREC online platform is
envisioned as a connection,
facilitation and care management
tool that will enable faster and more
efficient access to a global network
of care, expertise and funding with a
focus on healthcare.
15. USER BASE
This includes children in need
and their caretakers.
The Child In Need
Includes Healthcare and other
care providers.
Providers
Community &
Donors
Includes the variation of
benevolent communities and
individuals who wish to engage
and provide additional support.
16. CONNECTIVE TOOLS
The Child In NeedProviders Community &
Donors
In this platform, we will develop several data
sets—cases, providers and care logs into a single and
more robust online platform. Children in need and
their take carers can simply search per criteria and
be connected to resources available to them.
In phase II of the website
development, we will also create a
portion of the website that will allow
individuals around the world to
connect with a child, and provide
support through social sharing.
17. FACILITATION TOOLS
The Child In NeedProviders Community &
Donors
There will be a simple communication tool that will
allow exchanges between providers and children in
need.
We imbed simple social sharing
features for each individual and also
allow opportunities to easily donate
customized funds with a touch of a
button.
19. SIMPLICITY IS KEY
HIRE THE RIGHT PEOPLE
KEEP THE CHILDREN IN MIND AT ALL TIMES
Our main priority will be the children’s welfare at all times. We will not let
functionalities get in the way of whether this helps a child in need. Our
philosophy is, it might have bells and whistles, but if it doesn’t make an
impact, we don’t want it.
Simplicity will be a core foundational principle during the development of
the CREC website. We will push for the user experience to remain intuitive
and seamless staying away developing a cluttered website.
We have been working with advisors with extensive digital experience. Our
goal is to hire developers who have worked on both successful digital
non-profit projects, but also mostly successful commercial ones.
KEEPING FLEXIBLE
To develop this platform into a sustainable and impactful online platform, we
will abide to another core value of testing, failing, learning and adjusting.
21. FROM ONE TO 100
TGCF and the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS)
have partnered to launch a pilot program using the CREC
website.
The Pilot Program, From One to 100, will connect 100
Syrian children suffering from medical complexities to life
saving resources in the United States through the CREC
online platform.
This will be an opportunity to help Syrian children in
desperate need, and also test the CREC website, an
online model, by connecting children in need to the
people ready to help them. The Pilot will also provide the
underpinning for scaling the solution to the magnitude of
the problem.
23. ENGENDERING PARTNERSHIPS
Since its inception TGCF has relied on, and has been energized by
its collaborative efforts. The combination of a reliable source for the
coordination of vital resources through the CREC, and engagement
by those in a position to address some of the most pressing global
issues, once connected, will be the real game changer on behalf of
the world’s neediest citizens, the children, our future.
Please join us and help scale the solution to the magnitude of the
problem and help the children who wait.
