In May 2009 Mercy from Uganda returned home after almost a year after arriving to Save a Child\'s Heart for life saving cardiac surgery. From medical highs to lows and with the help of the SACH Medica. Staff at Wolfson Medical Centeer in Israel and the Save a CHild\'s Heart Staff Mercy went from infant to a determined and confident little girl filled with joy. She inspiried me to "recreate" the Creation as a Photoshop Challange with the guidance of my dear friend Hadas Bor. Sheila

Mercy from Uganda had live saving cardiac surgery at Save a Chil\'d Heart Israel. It was a difficult time with many complications. But the SACH Doctors and Staff were determined that this little imp would weatherit all and go home . SHe did. Arriving as an infant she returned homw walking, smiling and filled with confidence...and was an inspiration in my interpretation of The Creation.

Rice induced anaphylaxis
This study identified a 56-kDa glycoprotein as a potential food allergen responsible for anaphylaxis in a patient after rice consumption. Skin prick tests and basophil activation tests with rice extracts were positive. Immunoblotting of rice protein extracts detected IgE binding to a constant 56-kDa band. Four IgE-reactive proteins of around 49, 52, 56, and 98 kDa were purified and recognized by IgE from multiple rice-allergic patients. Inhibition assays showed the epitopes of the 56-kDa protein are determined by both heat-stable cross-reactive carbohydrate determinants and protein structure. Triage is the process of sorting injured patients based on their need for immediate medical treatment. It allows for prioritization of care when resources are insufficient for all patients. There are typically four categories in a triage system - Immediate (red), requiring treatment now or the patient will die; Delayed (yellow), serious injuries but stable for now; Minimal (green), minor injuries can wait; and Expectant (black), little chance of survival so comfort care only.
