In 2019, Visual studio have not given WCF by default and you need to install it manually. In this part we will see how to install WCF in Visual studio 2019. It's very simple. We will see how to create JSON in next slide show.
2. Introduction
• Microsoft trying to give all type of environment to you for development
like mobile, windows form, website, services etc.
• If your working on one or two of the environment then you may not like
to install other things.
• To avoid this Microsoft have given us selection for options while
installation.
3. WCF is not default part in VS 2019
• As like before when we install VS (Visual studio), WCF get installed by
default but in 2019 you have to install it separately.
• WCF nothing but “Windows Communication Foundation” is component
of Microsoft and you have to install it manually.
4. Follow the following steps
• Create new project.
• Search for wcf in searchbox.
• If nothing appears, click on install more tools and features.
• New windows, visual studio installer will appear.
• Go to individual components.
• Search for Development Activities head.
• Click on Windows Communication Foundation.
• Click on Modify button at right-down corner.
• Restart VS.
5. • Create new project.
• Search for WCF in searchbox
• Select it.
• Give appropriate path and create project.
• That’s it.
