North Lake College Library
Signage was really a problem here. Starting
with the main sign outside… very small and
on opposite wall to the entrance. In the
inside too, signage was sporadic and not at
eye level.
Lots of natural light and very high ceilings
makes this area feel open and alive even
though the color scheme is so pale and dry.

2. Frisco Public Library
Lots of color and big lettering on walls
identify main areas within the library.
Vibrant environment that invites customer to
grab, look and use their materials in the
children’s area.
Adult area, although more formal and quiet,
also receives lots of natural and artificial
light and the use of wood furniture and
wood decorated ceilings gives the area
warmth and coziness.
