EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Internship consists of an exchange of services for experience between the student and
an organization. Students can also use an internship to determine if they have an interest
in a particular career, explore their interest and create a network of contacts. It also
helps them to test their skills, competences, identify knowledge gap between theoretical
principles and practical work setting. It provides students with the practical exposure so
that students understand the working culture, systems, structure, strategy, operations,
methodology and activities that are carried out in an organization.
This report mainly contains four chapters namely as Introduction, Background information,
Data presentation and analysis and summary and conclusion.
Chapter 1 includes the background of the study, statement of the problem, review of
literature, objective of the study, significance of study and methods of the study.
Chapter 2 includes brief introduction of Bagmatiriver, contains history of the river,
pollution of bagmati and causes of pollution the river.
The chapter 3 of this report contains the data analysis and presentation. The section is
further divided into two parts. The first part is current scenario of the river and the second
part is swot analysis.
Chapter 4 of this report is the summary, conclusion and recommendation part of the study.
The summary part contains the overall summary of the study process and progress. The
conclusion part contains the conclusions that I have made from the study. The
recommendation part contains some of suggestions and recommendation for maintaining
effective and efficient performance of cleanup campaign.
The last part of this report contains the bibliography and appendix part. The appendix part
contains the questionnaire of structured review. In brief, this report is the study theBagmati
waste management.
