The course presented the most recent scientific evidence on the likely impacts and risks of climate change in the absence of necessary climate action, including rising global temperatures by 4°C by the end of the century, and identified opportunities for urgent action. The course was overseen by Dr. Pablo C. Benitez and Dr. Alan S. Miller of the World Bank Group.
