This document discusses whether low coupling is an important design principle for keyword-driven testing (KDT) scripts. It presents on coupling in KDT scripts, introduces the concepts of low and high coupling, and provides a case study analysis on how coupling affects the maintainability and readability of test scripts. The case study found that test scripts with lower coupling had higher maintainability and readability scores compared to more highly coupled scripts. Therefore, the document concludes that low coupling is an important design principle for KDT scripts.
