This document outlines a tree chart for analyzing variances in construction project costs. It breaks costs down into direct costs like material, labor, and equipment. Material costs are further broken down by item like cement, steel, and additives. Cement costs have four levels of analysis for price, quantity, mix proportions, and individual additives. The tree chart was developed by Abdul Kashif to perform a full-scale variance analysis of project costs.
