Offset Printing… Offset Printing is a technique whereby ink is spread on a metal plate with etched images, then transferred to an intermediary surface such as a rubber blanket ("Offset Cylinder"), and finally applied to paper by pressing the paper against the intermediary surface ("Impression Cylinder"). Offset printing involves using Wet Ink and therefore requires drying time before an order can be cut, folded, scored or handled. We have a variety of Offset Presses ranging in sheet sizes from 3x5 to as large as 20x26. We also house only the BEST Brands such as HEIDELBERG, KOMORI, RYOBI, A.B. DICK, which insure reliability and dependability time after time. No matter how large or small the order, from quantities of 50 to 4,000,000 we have got you covered. Single Color Press 4 - Color Press 2 - Color Press
Raised Printing… Thermography (Raised Printing) is often used in place of the more expensive engraving process to produce Business Cards, Formal Invitations and Stationery. Commonly known as poor man's engraving, Thermography produces Raised Printing similar in appearance to engraving but using a different process. In Thermography, a special powder is dropped onto the ink, which is printed on the paper. The printed piece is then heated, causing the powder to melt with the ink. Once melted, the paper then travels through a cooling unit that dries the mixture to form a raised effect on the paper. The Raised Printing process requires a special piece equipment (which we have) called a Thermographer. In fact, we have several lines of Thermography Production in our plant, giving us a another unique advantage over the competition. FACT: Cornerstone Graphics manufactures more than 20 MILLION Raised Business Cards annually for some of our Nations Largest Corporations. We can only achieve this with our extremely talented craftsman, some of which have been with us for more than 30 years. Thermographer 12up Business Card Slitter
