facilitates relationships between artists and the Gary, Indiana community by providing temporary
workspaces, housing, exhibition space and information to artists.
Director of the Gary Poetry Project- A project to create a city-wide collaborative poem and a yearlong
celebration of poetry in Gary, Indiana, aimed at connecting the city’s artistic past and present. The project culminates
with public poetry workshops and readings, and display of the collaborative artworks throughout the city. Funded by
the Knight Foundation
Director of the Gary Ecopolis Project: An ambitious project to envision and transform Gary, IN into
a regenerative city, to address climate change, and provide environmental and food justice.
The Rethink Your Lawn Coloring Book (co-author) Released in 2019
Fill Your Town With Fields of Sunflowers Project and Zine (creator and co-author) 2021
Co-Producer of Kaminski’s Lot an original play by Jeff Biggers which follows the journey of a
vanload of IUN students and their professor, who must take refuge in a greenhouse at a seemingly
abandoned lot when a disastrous storm shuts down the area. In a celebration of storytelling, led by
an urban farmer and her niece, Kaminiski's Lot places the questions of legacy, culture and personal
histories on stage, in a time of climate crisis.(2021)

full season dedicated to programming and community engagement, both on and off stage, related to
