Three psychologists studied the concept of self-presentation and the "multiple audience problem". The multiple audience problem occurs when someone has to present themselves to different groups at the same time, such as coworkers, bosses, and spouses at an office holiday party. My field education experience is called “brighter future”. It is an agency that most of the employee are related. And so part of their confidently is made sure that they do not share information.
A description of agency policies or mandates about confirms to evidentiality
Today at my field placement, we discuss the important of confidentiality. According to my agency policies, we have to make sure that everything we do is kept confidential. For example, I was observing and learning how to input documents into the computer. I found out that, everyone in the agency is required to keep every file, everything they do about that client has to be protected.
The files that inputted in the computer were also kept manually and under the table so that no one would know about their client’s names.
Discussing any client outside the office was a no-no. They were also required not to address any problem faced by the clients until they have any a consent letter from the client.
An explanation of potential challenges in communicating with clients within your agency
The challenges that I see with confidentiality within this agency is how they interact with each other. Some of the confidential information is shared throughout the agency and take lightly as a joke. I think it’s about time for all employee to come together and be supportive of this little fella who wanted a bike but lack of financial report

With the place that I am working at Paso Del Norte Children’s Development Center, I am working in a variety of places that require different safety plans. The number one rule is to always sit by the door and have the client sit in front of u while the door is behind you. This is in order to prevent any type of danger that may occur. The bright side about working with clients that are in our organization is that these clients are willing to meet with us. It is important to keep note that these clients are in need of help and come to us in order to get help with behavioral, students with special needs, or other specific behavior’s that kids need help with. There are also a number of speech therapists that work within the building and help the kids overcome their fears or behavior patterns when dealing with this issue.

Employees are protected by the law against arbitrary searches by employers and infringement on their privacy. However, the employer has the right to search without requesting the employee. However, this action is only applicable whenever the employer is inspecting the items belonging to the company such as the employee’s locker or car. If the vehicle belongs to the employee, the employer has no right to search. Otherwise, that will be considered as an invasion of the worker’s privacy.
An employer has the right to watch a nanny’s behavior whenever the nanny is on the employer’s premises and taking care of the employer's children. The employer has a right to listen in to the phone calls and messages of the nanny, as long as the phone being used belongs to the employer. The employer can read the emails of the nanny, force the employee to take a drug test to ensure the employee is not drugging the kids or acting under the influence of narcotics.
However, it is not allowed for the employer to install security cameras in sensitive places such as bathrooms or toilets. These cameras can be installed in public places such as kitchen, living room or in the yard. The employers are allowed by the law to have these cameras in such public places. The employer should however not invade the privacy of the employees.

Whistleblowing
Whistleblowing is a process where an employee communicates on non-ethical issues done in an organization. One of the real life experience I had had of whistleblowing when a fellow employee in a bookstore I was working in who had been denied leave for over five years decided to report the act to the worker’s union. This action prompted a harsh reaction from the union which gave the management of the bookstore an ultimatum within which it should have provided a list of the dates its employees are scheduled to go for leave.
Also, the union streamlined other issues within the workplace besides the granting of leave to employees. Before this time, I felt the pressure to express my despair since I was also expecting to get a leave but was afraid that would cause trouble between my employer and me.
In the years before 2013, the Bank of America was accused of getting rid of employees it suspected would blow the whistle. This came as a result of the great fraud that was taking place in the company which posed the danger that if notice, the bank would be closed or face different serious legal battles. Edward O’Donnell was one of the whistleblowers who led the court into gathering enough evidence about the shoddy mortgage deals that the Bank of America was undertaking.

Employees are protected by the law against arbitrary searches by employers and infringement on their privacy. However, the employer has the right to search without requesting the employee. However, this action is only applicable whenever the employer is inspecting the items belonging to the company such as the employee’s locker or car. If the vehicle belongs to the employee, the employer has no right to search. Otherwise, that will be considered as an invasion of the worker’s privacy.
An employer has the right to watch a nanny’s behavior whenever the nanny is on the employer’s premises and taking care of the employer's children. The employer has a right to listen in to the phone calls and messages of the nanny, as long as the phone being used belongs to the employer. The employer can read the emails of the nanny, force the employee to take a drug test to ensure the employee is not drugging the kids or acting under the influence of narcotics.
However, it is not allowed for the employer to install security cameras in sensitive places such as bathrooms or toilets. These cameras can be installed in public places such as kitchen, living room or in the yard. The employers are allowed by the law to have these cameras in such public places. The employer should however not invade the privacy of the employees.

Whistleblowing
Whistleblowing is a process where an employee communicates on non-ethical issues done in an organization. One of the real life experience I had had of whistleblowing when a fellow employee in a bookstore I was working in who had been denied leave for over five years decided to report the act to the worker’s union. This action prompted a harsh reaction from the union which gave the management of the bookstore an ultimatum within which it should have provided a list of the dates its employees are scheduled to go for leave.
Also, the union streamlined other issues within the workplace besides the granting of leave to employees. Before this time, I felt the pressure to express my despair since I was also expecting to get a leave but was afraid that would cause trouble between my employer and me.
In the years before 2013, the Bank of America was accused of getting rid of employees it suspected would blow the whistle. This came as a result of the great fraud that was taking place in the company which posed the danger that if notice, the bank would be closed or face different serious legal battles. Edward O’Donnell was one of the whistleblowers who led the court into gathering enough evidence about the shoddy mortgage deals that the Bank of America was undertaking.

- 2. CONFIDENTIALLY • To have avoid this situation there should have been a in-service class from the technology department of UCLA. There should also been guidelines given to those who feel the need to tampering of personal flies. As a manager I would stress the importance and the purpose of HIPPA in the healthcare.
- 4. TRAINING • With training it can be effective if the staff stays in their lane and focus on their work. There should be no time in the day were scandals can take place. People must learn what you do in the dark will surface to the light one day. When working under private records it’s not anyone’s business unless one is authorize to read charts. This is a must and the people of UCLA Medical did not realize the full extent to what they were doing was federal offense to private property.

- 6. Confidential Records • Based on the report we are dealing with a lot of immature adults that likes the fact of looking into celebrities confidential records. This situation has taken place over two years and the report states, “the three staffers at the UCLA Medical Center continued to look at the confidential records of a “well-known individual” after a crackdown of record peeking in April”. At this point they never released the names of the celebrity.
- 8. CONFIDENTIAL RECORDS • From the report the hospital took no blame. But I feel if one disrespects those on the job with immature behavior the one involved should deal with the consequences of prying into peoples personal records without permission. UCLA Medical Center should be held accountable because this type of behavior should have never taken place.

- 10. PURPOSE • Confidentiality is a important role. It shows loyalty and trust. If establishments can’t get that from their employees then the best thing to do is to go somewhere they deal with behaviors of that kind. As being the boss I know not to many of bosses deal with that. To my surprise as I continued to read this report one was fired and two were warned. UCLA is still under investigation and those that were found to have breached patient confidentiality were discipline or fired.
- 11. Conclusion • My thought as to the report is we all take chances when dealing with people that walk this earth. It just shows me that everyone you hire are not trustworthy in their walk in life. Honesty carries a long way and just don’t know why people with their mess feel they will get away with their behavior. Sooner or later it will catch up. It may not happen right away but trust it will take place when you least aspect it too. This was a good lesson and learn so much from the small report.
