This document discusses plans for developing a competitive multiplayer version of Conway's Game of Life cellular automaton. The original Game of Life involves cells on a grid that follow simple propagation rules to reproduce or die off based on the states of neighboring cells. The proposed version would add two player states (Red and Blue) and allow individual cell control within a small pad area, with the goal of destroying the other player's patterns. Developing basic patterns and strategic approaches would be important, as small changes can lead to unpredictable behavior. Future plans include 3D versions and new propagation rules to understand the dynamics of multiplayer competitive Life.
