best placed providers-
to deliver on social prescribing
to provide peer support, training and self
management
 to work alongside professional clinical based
care pathways offering universal information,
advice and guidance to our residents.

LBB already hold a number of longstanding
contracts with the VCSE sector to provide:
Day opportunities
Carers support services
Signposting services
Advice services

LBB/CCG have jointly commissioned an
asset mapping report on the VCSE sector.
We would like to encourage all voluntary sector
providers to complete the survey
…40 voluntary providers already have done so

LBB/CCG are working in partnership to
commission integrated community
services through the Better Care Fund
 An example is the up coming Dementia
Tender for universal support services
 This is a real opportunity for VCSE sector
partnership bids

 The VCSE Sector can support residents and prevent
the need for more formal state funded long term
care packages (or unnecessary hospital admissions)
 This helps the health and care system deliver both
quality outcomes and value for money… at a time
where budgets are severely stretched
