In a matter of weeks we were able to come to agreeable terms with the insurance company on the cost and perform the replacement of 410,000sf of TPO in Evansville, IN. - 4. 4 877-407-8676 www.acicontractors.com Condominiums: Recently Restored Whispering Oaks Hail Damage $1.8M Winchester Crossing Wind Damage $800,000 ACI worked with their insurance provider to assess the condition of their residential condo buildings, specifically their roofs. The Condominium Association believed that 7 buildings needed significant roof repair or replacement. With the insight provided by ACI the condo board received benefits to replace 24 roofs due to hail damage. This will significantly increase the value of tangible assets to the condo owners for years to come. Gender Park Wind Damage $730,000 ACI was selected to replace Feazel Roofing as the board’s representative for their insurance claim after Feazel Roofing was unable to negotiate an acceptable resolution to the claim. ACI inherited a claim that was less than $150,000.00 and woefully inadequate for the required repairs. Nationwide Insurance was unwilling to increase the scope of work per documentation and on-site inspections with Feazel Roofing. ACI was able to bring a team of engineers and inspectors to work on behalf of our client, which resulted in a scope increase to more than $575,000.00 Greensview Condominiums ACI was selected to represent this condo association board after a proposal process that invited the top 9 contractors in the Dayton/Cincinnati area to compete for this opportunity. We successfully increased the scope of this claim to cover an addition $430,000.00 in proceeds from the insurance company for a total claim in excess of $1,800,000.00. We replaced over 250,000 SF of shingled roofing and 300 skylights in less than 3 weeks with minimal interruption to the unit owners. The Adjustment: Both your ACI representative and the insurance companies adjuster will inspect the property together. ACI Construction & Restoration was invited to provide a quote to replace the roofs on this complex for National Development Corporation. A trained ACI Project Manager identified Hail damage to the roofs and made the management in Pittsburg, PA aware of the situation. An insurance claim was filed and Travelers Insurance provided a scope of repairs for $4,700.00 to replace Hail damaged aluminum accessories. ACI provided an engineering analysis that indicated the asphalt shingles had been adversely affected by the impact force of the Hail. Traveler's insurance responded with engineering teams from Donan Engineering and EES Engineering to indicate the claim should be voided. National Development Corporation filed for dispute resolution and an independent arbitrator found in favor of ACI's position and awarded the owners over $570,000.00 to replace all roofs and accessories.
