Editor's Notes

  • #2 The comma and you. The comma is one of the friendliest and most helpful of punctuations. But I’m getting ahead of myself folks.
  • #3 Some of you may be asking, what is a comma?
  • #4 A comma is a punctuation that we could call the cousin of the period. It is round with at the head with a small tail flourished on the right hand side. To some of you it may look like a tad pole or a an upside down raindrop, but you’re wrong it’s a comma. Unlike it’s cousin the period, it doesn’t ask for a full stop of a sentence or phrase, it just asks if we can slow down for a second before continuing on.
  • #5 You’re probably asking yourself, how can a comma be helpful in a sentence?
