To promote awareness of the Salvation Army's goal of helping local families in NEPA and to educate about upcoming fundraising events. The audience is the Wilkes campus and public. Strategies include creating a Salvation Army Facebook page and event, developing a factsheet, press releases, PSA, and local story. Tactics involve using these on Facebook and distributing flyers, signs and posters to promote the Kettle Kick-Off Classic relay event. The PR promotion was deemed a success.
