1. Colorado Association for Food Protection (CAFP)
The International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) represents a broad range of members with a singular
focus — protecting the global food supply and the food that each of us provides to our families. Within the
association, you will find educators, government officials, microbiologists, food industry executives and quality
assurance professionals who are involved in all aspects of growing, storing, transporting, processing and
preparing all types of foods.
Colorado Association for Food Protection is a newly formed affiliate of IAFP. We aspire to be of resource for
the food industry in Colorado. Some of our goals and objectives are: to provide conferences and educational
workshops related to food safety and protection for private sector, university and regulatory professionals; to
organize and facilitate effective participation and communication in Colorado by all sectors of the food and
related industries in the activities and functions of the IAFP; to create an opportunity for learning within the
Colorado food industry; to provide educational opportunities to help advance Food Industry Careers and to
provide networking opportunities with professionals from all parts of the Colorado Food Industry.
It is through the support of our members and corporate sponsors that will make the CAFP a successful
organization. Corporate sponsors will enjoy benefits at our conferences and yearly memberships to CAFP as
well as being included on communications to our membership. A great opportunity awaits you if you decide
to join as a sponsor. Sponsorships are renewed on a yearly basis. Donations are tax deductible.
