2. • There is a misconception that the temperature has
to be over 40 degrees to install shingles, but only
the shingles themselves have to be that warm.

3. • We keep our shingles in a warehouse so we have
full control of the temperature.

4. • We bring the shingles out day of to ensure perfect
temperature.

5. • If the weather is very cold, we will put the shingles
in your garage, with a heater pointed at them to
keep them warm.

6. • If you don’t have a garage, or don’t have any room,
we will build a temporary storage unit to house the
shingles and keep them ready to go.

7. • The reason we keep them warm is that a shingle
will not adhere properly to your roof if it is too cold,
and may even break. We want to ensure the
optimal fit and strength of each and every shingle.

8. • We also use heat guns to warm up the Ice and
Water shield that goes in the valleys of your roof.

9. • The reason we heat it up is to keep it pliable and to
guarentee the perfect fit. If it never fully adheres to
your roof, it will never do its job properly.
