4. Week 1 Do wE have to do community
Service?
Murchison is an IB World School which means ALL of our students are expected to
participate in service projects. This requirement is meant to help our students understand
the value of giving back to their community.
You will be designing and working on a community service project together in advisory
class this year. Your teacher is your mentor and you can work alone or in small groups on
your project. You will keep track of your progress in a google document.
At the end of the year, we will have a showcase for you to share your
projects with your parents, friends and our school community.
