• By the end of their rotation, Students in Accelacare’s clinical
education program will have learned to:
– Evaluate / diagnose movement deficits
– Build a PT diagnosis using subjective / objective
– Apply hands-on skills and therapeutic exercises
– Document and code effectively
– Treat varied patient populations and settings
– Interact with and educate patients positively
– Learn about the business of physical therapy

insurance coverage, prior authorizations, and Clinic
collections processes
– Rehab tech patient education - how Accelacare’s
techs help gather information and deliver it to
therapists

Who is Accelacare?

• Mentorship-based approach focused on empowering patients to
make positive health decisions and achieve their goals:
– Front desk educates patients regarding the value of PT and
their insurance coverage, all the way down to a per-visit cost
– Therapists educate patients regarding how their bodies work
and what steps need to be taken to help achieve patient
goals
– Rehabilitation technicians connect with patients on a 1:1
basis and facilitate PT education by gathering and relaying
information about the patient’s condition to to the PT

treatment slots, each of which has a heavy emphasis on
subjective evaluation
– 30-minute treatment slots
– Patients are treated according to their need, not to meet a
