Joe helped Joanne at an event by explaining technology to her and assisting her with companies when she understood little. Later, when Joanne was filling out a form for a faster internet connection voucher scheme, there were fields she could not answer, so Joe again provided helpful assistance by contacting her new provider and completing parts of the form for her. Joanne expressed her deep gratitude to Joe for his eagerness and ability to help, as well as his can-do attitude and helpfulness whenever she needs assistance.

Hello Joe
Just a brief note to let you know how much I appreciate your help. When we first met last year at the
Museum Gardens in the York Superconnected Cities event you were extremely patient and helpful assisting
me with the companies there when I understood little of the technology. After a period of time trying to
organise a company to be able to offer me a connection I applied to the faster internet connections voucher
scheme. There were a number of fields I was unable to answer so I was again delighted and very grateful for
you help as when I rang you had already been in touch with my new provider and completed the parts I could
not.
It is very refreshing to find someone eager and able to help as you have and I was very grateful for your
assistance, can do attitude and helpfulness. I feel that nothing is too much trouble for you to help. You are
definitely the “Go to man”!
