3. What will Happen?
O This unit is comprised of the student’s
learning about weather and traffic safety.
O Your student will be involved in hands on
activities such as playing the role of a
meteorologist, and practice identifying
traffic signals through matching activities
and pictures.
O Your student will work daily on identifying
the current weather conditions and
reviewing the traffic safety signs weekly.

By the end of the unit, students will identify
objects observed in the day sky with the
unaided eye, including the sun, clouds,
moon, and rainbows, over 5 consecutive
days with 100% accuracy.
By the end of the unit, students will identify
and match safety symbols and shapes with
their corresponding pictures, over 5
consecutive days with 80% accuracy
