1. Lotherton Class Charter
We have the right to:
· feel physically safe in our a class.
· have a teacher who looks at what we know
and builds our learning from there.
· a teacher who is keen to build a relationship
with us, as a strong relationship will mean
that we will aim to please and our teacher
will look to inspire us.
· work and learn with lots of people.
· be given learning that will challenge us to do
our best.
· be given opportunities, to recharge our
brains to help us learn, such as: playtime,
water and toilet breaks.
We have the responsibility to:
· make sure we act safely
· share with the teacher what we know
to help them
· build a strong relationship with our
teacher by listening, following
instructions and trying our best.
· Show that we can work with different
people and value their skills and
opinions

· take on a learning challenge, even
though at first we may feel worried
that we cannot do it.
· take toilet and water breaks at a
sensible time during the day and not
when teacher is talking to the whole
class.
