Through its Clare Bridge program, our community
provides comfortable, home-like settings with services
designed specifically for individuals living with
Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia.
Each day our compassionate associates encourage
residents by guiding them thru various activities, social
connections and dining experiences that, collectively,
promote opportunities for daily moments of success, and
reduce the behavioral expressions common in dementia.
The Clare Bridge setting is punctuated with kitchens,
workshops, and areas of discovery that encourage
residents to engage safely in familiar and productive
household activities, artistic pursuits, music and
movement.
It is also important to note that it is not unusual for
people with more advanced dementia to remain in
good physical condition. While this setting is equipped
to accommodate those who are frail or in declining
health, we can also care for those who are physically fit
and offer safe and controlled outdoor access to walking
areas, courtyards, and gardens.
The Clare Bridge Daily Path
A hallmark of The Clare Bridge Program is the “Daily
Path,” a gently-structured routine designed to help
people utilize their remaining skills to the best of their
abilities. Particular areas of supportive programming
in our more advanced setting include:
