2. Water is something we can’t exist without. It is
part of our lives. We need to drink water to
stay lively. Nowadays, we use shortcuts to do
everything. Basically, clean water is getting
destroyed because people don't care what they
throw in water and the Earth is going to get
damaged. If clean water is ruined, life is going
to be much worse on the Earth and the only
ones who can stop that from happening is you!

4. Most water pollution doesn't begin in the water itself.
Take the oceans. Around 80% of ocean pollution enters
our seas from the land. Practically any human activity
can have an effect on the quality of our water
environment. When farmers enrich the fields, the
chemicals they use are slowly washed by rain into the
groundwater or surface waters nearby. Sometimes the
causes of water pollution are quite surprising.
Chemicals released by smokestacks (chimneys) can
enter the atmosphere and then fall back to earth as
rain, entering seas, rivers, and lakes and causing water
pollution. That's called atmospheric deposition. Water
pollution has many different causes and this is one of
the reasons why it is such a difficult problem to solve.
5. There is no easy way to solve water pollution; if there was, it
wouldn't be so much of a problem. Broadly speaking, there
are three different things that can help to tackle the
problem—education, laws, and economics—and they work
together as a team. A country that is dealing with water
pollution is the Philippines. Just one glance at the water
there, you can say that the bodies of water in the Philippines
are polluted. The current state of the aquatic ecosystem in
the Philippines is miserable, and the ever increasing
population of the country isn't helping this problem one
bit, if ever, it’s even supporting the destruction and
pollution of our waters. We can take action as countries and
continents to pass laws that will make pollution harder and
the world less polluted. Working together, we can make
pollution less of a problem—and the world a better place.

H2O for Life provides a transformational service-
learning chance for students, adolescence groups
and others to partner with a school in a developing
country that tremendously needs
water, cleanliness and hygiene education. Through
service-learning, supporter partners study the
global water disaster, while taking action to fund a
project for their recipient partner school. Students
and adults learn they can make a difference in the
lives of others, becoming thrilled worldwide
citizens and activists for change. H2O for Life
provides a wide-ranging curriculum, and
educational support.
