Megan Smith

Megan Smith is an entrepreneur, tech evangelist, engineer, and connector. At Google’s X lab, Smith works on a range of projects including co-creating/hosting SolveForX. For nine years prior she led Google’s New Business Development team managing early-stage partnerships, pilot explorations, and technology licensing for Google’s global engineering and product teams. She led the acquisitions of Keyhole (Google Earth), Where2Tech (Google Maps), and Picasa, and also led the Google.org team transition to add more engineering with Google Crisis Response, GoogleforNonprofits, Earth Outreach/Engine, and increased employee engagement.

Robert Dolin served as the Chief Technology Officer of Echelon Corporation from 1995 to September 2014 and served as its Vice President until September 2014. Mr. Dolin, Echelon’s system architect, has worked for Echelon since 1989. He is the principal or co-inventor of fourteen Echelon patents, and is one of the designers of the LonWorksprotocol, the network development system environment, the Neuron C programming model and LonWorksnetwork management. Before joining Echelon, Dolin spent 11 years at ROLM Corporation, where he was one of the main developers of its fully distributed PBX telephone system.
