Control and Instrumentation systems.
-Maintain, inspect, and train personnel on the F-16 Avionics &
Instrumentation, Communication &, Navigation, and Radar & Fire Control systems.
-Established an Inspection plan to accept new aircraft.
-Develop Plan of Instructions for Maintenance Training Classes (Accredited
by Community College of the Air Force).
-Performed Testing and Repairs on aircraft grounded for in-flight
emergency involving my area of experience, briefing Group Commanders in order to
release the aircraft for flight
Quality Assurance Technician
-Main objective was to inspect maintenance activities, develop procedures
and work instructions, in order to continuously improve aircraft
operational readiness and capabilities of maintenance personnel,
-Responsibilities included Phase Inspections and Final Acceptance of new
aircraft.
-Analyze root cause and recommend corrective action for nonconformance to
USAF Technical Orders.
-Conducted Exercise Evaluations Training, a training requirement to test
and evaluate the base personnel's' ability to operate and survive during a war
time.
-Performed Material Deficiency Report monitoring in order to increase the
reliability of parts ordered to maintain the F16 aircraft and recoup funds
spent on those parts. Savings averaged over $1,000,000 each year.
