3. SUNBEAMS at ST. GILES
‘COME WHEN YOU CAN, LEAVE WHEN YOU LIKE’
We are the ever-popular gathering of children from 0 to
school age, along with a grown-up; parents, grandparents,
child minders - all are welcome.
We meet every other Wednesday from 10.30 till 12.00 in
term time, starting in St Giles’ Church with songs, stories
and fun activities, followed by play, crafty things, drinks
and biscuits in the church hall. You are very welcome to
come along at any time to join the fun. There is no charge,
though a small contribution for drinks is welcome.
The Diary page in the Parish News will tell you when we
meet, or ring Megan (432605) or Sue (319613).
4. Coffee Stop
In Whittington Church Hall
Thursdays at 10.30am until 12.00pm
A chance to sit down and enjoy a tea or coffee and slice of
cake in relaxed and friendly surroundings. Minimum cost of
20p per cup. If you would like to come but need transport

5. Whist for Pleasure
Every Thursday 2pm - 4pm
in the Church Hall, Whittington
Never played cards before? Don’t worry, the
emphasis is on pleasure and friendship. New
and experienced players welcome.
£1 per session including refreshments.

in. There are no auditions.
It’s a relaxed atmosphere,
entirely free, and it is fun!!
We sing show tunes, pop
songs and medleys (no
hymns!).
We “croon” most Monday
nights.
