Research and Development
 Wrote software in Java for OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to help assist disabled
voters. It was part of a team group project to come up with a better solution that what was
currently available for disabled voters. The software is able to decipher text found on a
picture (.jpeg, .png) file and place the text into a .txt file.
 Created a realistic model of the Hunley Submarine in Maya for use in the virtual reality
program Gazebo. Worked with Gazebo to texture the model.
DPA Digital Production Arts
Clemson
 Created an action adventure videogame using the Unreal Development Kit (UDK4).
 Used Maya to make all animations and used UDK's blueprint system to code the combat system.
 Gained extensive knowledge, over this year long thesis project, on all aspects of character and
effects animation using UDK.
 Created a few games in Unity, using Javascript, that had a robot shooting a soccer ball at a
moving goal post and dribbling a soccer ball through an obstacle course.
 Part of a 5 man team tasked with making a 2 minute and 30 second animated short film titled
“Fire in the Water”. This film won the Glory Award and the Best Animated Film Award from the
Greenville International Film Festival.
 I was tasked with animating most of the film in Maya. Also assisted with lighting and rendering
a few scenes in the short film. This project took a year to complete.
 Created various physically based animation simulations using OpenGL and C++. I built a pool
ball simulation using rigid bodies.
