A Chinese hotel manager named Hung Chun had difficulty using chopsticks after suffering a stroke and paid $4,500 to a hospital for treatment. Doctors injected stem cells from donors into his spinal cord and buttocks. Hung became ill after the treatment and was hospitalized again. He was then treated at a Chinese military hospital for $8,000 but died one month later. His case attracted international attention to researching other uses for donated stem cells.

• He pays the hospital 30,000 Yuan ($4,500) to try and be
treated in anyway possible.
• Scientist/doctors injected him with what they said were
donor stem cells in to his spinal cord and butt.

3. • The day after the treatment, Hung was so ill after he left
he was forced to return to a hospital.
• Doctors at the PLA (Chinese military hospital) charged
Hung 80,000 Yuan to attempt to heal him but lost him a
month later.

4. Unfortunately hung died one month after his admission to the PLA
hospital. Since his death multiple countries have taken interest into
finding other uses for donated stem-cells
