Families with children born with congenital heart defects face an overwhelming and stressful journey of medical decisions, emotions, and surgeries. To help these families, the nonprofit Mended Little Hearts worked with medical experts and parents of children with heart conditions to create a comprehensive digital guidebook called the Mended Little HeartGuide. The guidebook provides information and advice to help families cope with a diagnosis, navigate insurance, manage information overload, and support each other. It is aimed at empowering families as they care for children with heart conditions throughout their lives.
