Video games and violence
The Violent video games have proven that they make children become aggressive after
playing them.
Today video games have become very controversial. There is the fun goofy games everybody
loves, the racing games, games with animals, golfing and so many more. But there is also some
rather violent games, and games are games but the problem is that we are seeing children not
only spending too much time on the games, as well as playing the games that are not age
appropriate. And you know it’s just a game. Well ya it is just as game but that are to an adult
some kids relate to their cartoon, afternoon TV shows, and yes their video games, and some
studies, and scientific experimentations prove that the video games are making the children
aggressive.
Afterwardsthe parents expressed their desires to find out why. Scientist came up with some
tests to be able to help us understand more
Scientis's have proven there is a connection that video games, especially violent games make
children become aggressive. It change’schildren’s thoughts reactions, and maybe even change
their mood depending on the kind of game.
We had the idea of comparing several different kinds of games, the thought was to figure out
how they are teaching the children, and the study became clearer after the first few tests. It
showed that the video game actually was making the children more aggressive. (Gentile, D. A.,
& Gentile, J. (2008).
But again this is even controversial because the games are learning they have become so
intelligent that the military is starting to adopt them into their training. For the marine combat
units (Provenzo 2003)

Teenagers have the highest records for playing video games; it is you could call it style. In
fact they play it so much that it actually has effects on their, health the first reason is they spend
less time in normal relationships which is bad for socializing, an outside activities like sports
and recreation which starts to affect their heart rate sand oxygen levels. And also makes them
have Aggressive behavior. They also found in their studies, that the teenagers actually had lower
levels of memorizing, and verbalizing. the other interesting facts showed that the amount of time
the teenagers played showed they got less sleep and if they did get enough sleep never entered
into realm, so it was not deep sleep, and because of their bodies not completely sleeping right it
affected their blood pressure, oxygen intake they were tired sleep deprived, and that led to more
arguments and violence.
In Conclusion video games are a form of entertainment for our youth, but The violence in our
electronic generation, has become a major issue in our society, concerned neighbors, parents and
families are very concerned you hear on the news, an elementary child brings a gun to school
because he did not know how to deal with a bully, that could definitely fall into the not very
social category. The results are still controversial, but violent video games lead to the children
becoming aggressive
