The survey results from Mrs. Sero's 1st grade class stream team project showed that most parents understood some key environmental issues related to the stream, including what makes water potable, common sources of pollution in streams, and that storm drains often lead to local bodies of water. The students had also learned about macroinvertebrates and how some species indicate clean water. The class compiled and graphed the parent survey responses to analyze what adults knew about their stream project topics.

Janneke Adema from Coventry University explores remixed books and performative publications. She argues that academics need to experiment more with digital tools while still valuing authorship. A book can take new forms like a wiki while ensuring piracy and plagiarism are avoided. Access is more important than reuse, but academics should reflect on their own publishing practices. She raises questions about wikis functioning as books, challenges to authorship from living books, inhibitions to editing living books, implications of reuse in the humanities, challenges to copyright from open access, and whether copyright is needed in the humanities.
The document discusses a 2008 NASCAR race called the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard that took place in Indianapolis, Indiana, home to professional motor sports racing. Before the race, a group of hired talents worked unseen at the Marriott Hotel Downtown to prepare, with the goal of achieving a major win for their clients. The document uses cryptic language and lacks details but seems to be advertising services provided for the race event.

Study: The Future of VR, AR and Self-Driving CarsLinkedIn
We asked LinkedIn members worldwide about their levels of interest in the latest wave of technology: whether they’re using wearables, and whether they intend to buy self-driving cars and VR headsets as they become available. We asked them too about their attitudes to technology and to the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the devices that they use. The answers were fascinating – and in many cases, surprising.
This SlideShare explores the full results of this study, including detailed market-by-market breakdowns of intention levels for each technology – and how attitudes change with age, location and seniority level. If you’re marketing a tech brand – or planning to use VR and wearables to reach a professional audience – then these are insights you won’t want to miss.
