In Mancetter on May 18th from 2-5pm, there will be an event celebrating Roman Mancetter at the Scout Hall. Visitors can meet re-enactors portraying Roman soldiers and civilians, see weapon and pottery displays from Roman Mancetter, watch pottery-making and go on an archaeological dig for children. Entertainment includes Roman food, games, and guided tours to new information boards about Mancetter's Roman history.
