It consists of 14 steps: 1) Ensure the engine is at top dead center, 2) Install an O-ring on the pump, 3) Position and bolt the pump to the housing, 4) Install a bracket, 5) Install the pump gear and tighten, 6) Connect wiring, 7) Connect fuel lines, 8) Adjust a spacer and bolt, 9) Tighten the gear nut, 10) Remove timing tools, 11) Install covers and pulleys, 12) Install fuel lines. The instructions include illustrations and torque specifications for each step.
1. The document provides instructions for assembling and disassembling the piston pump on a 994H Wheel Loader. It describes the required tools and gives step-by-step instructions with accompanying illustrations.
2. The assembly procedure involves installing bearings, seals, springs, pistons, and other components in the proper order. Precise measurements are taken to ensure correct lift-off limitations.
3. The disassembly and installation procedures are described for removing and installing the high pressure screen and piston pump. Hoses and fittings are disconnected and reconnected.
