This document introduces the topic of tourism in the Peak District National Park and the village of Castleton. It outlines that 1) many people are visiting "honeypot" sites like Castleton, which face issues from overcrowding, 2) the Peak District has various jobs related to farming, quarrying, forestry, and tourism, and 3) while Castleton's population has declined due to rural depopulation, it sees many visitors drawn by tourist attractions. Finally, it mentions that a field trip will be taken to collect data through surveys and use secondary sources to analyze tourism in Castleton according to the Butler Model and address questions about sustainability.
