warm beverages or soups and tea with lemon. I will also inform pt about good hand washing,
Motrin or Tylenol use for fever, to push fluid, to use OTC Sudafed as needed for runny nose.
F/u: Return in one week if symptoms persist or get worse. Call 911 or go to ER in case you
experience any shortness of breath, severe chest pain or difficult of breath any time.
Brevity (do not ramble, but do not be to brief), Organization, Eye Contact and
Anticipation of questions are components of effective oral case presentation. In this homework
case I have used “organization” and “Brevity” to summary this case. As, this is not a live
presentation “Eye contact” does not apply (Stewart & Denisco, 2015, P. 154).
From the NONPF core competencies I have demonstrated “Scientific Foundation
Competencies, Quality competencies, Technology and Information Literacy Competencies,
Ethics Competencies, Independent Practice Competencies” in summarizing this case( Stewart &
Denisco, 2015, PP. 8-10).
