JIGSAW recently completed a new up-market beauty
and Hair salon in Altrincham, Cheshire.
JIGSAW provided the following services -
Jigsaw’s design team carried out an initial survey of
this disused building and then by working closely
with the client designed the salon located over three
floors using our in-house full CAD and 3D
visualisation facilities.
The Challenge set to our design team was simple. Haydn Adkins “Salon Director” explained in brief
“We need to maximise on space but be able to deliver a high class up-market salon with a very
contemporary feel. The works were carried out over a five week period with the salon opening
ahead of the projected completion date.
 Full strip out of the premises including all utility services back to the main incomers.
 Electrical design and installation including data,telecom,fire and intruder alarms, lighting and
general power.
 All internal partition walls to provide new working areas.
 Design, manufacture and installation of all bespoke joinery items.
 Supply and installation of all new sanitaryware and wash facilities to the salon and toilet areas.
 High quality flooring to the salon and back of house areas.
 Full decoration of internal and external areas including wallcoverings and general paintwork.
 Supply of soft furnishings and window blinds.
