ECOCOOLING IN THEIR DATA CENTRE
NCN have installed a floor mounted EcoCooling unit in
their Clarendon centre, the area has a 30KW heatload
and was cooled using three ceiling mounted air
conditioning units.
The Celsius system is linked into the existing air
conditioning units so that they can act as backup and
provide N+1 resilience. The Celsius control system also
has an internal ‘Dailer Box’ system that can automatically
alert upto 6 phone numbers if there should be a problem
with the temperature in the area, giving complete peace
of mind for all.
Celsius undertook the complete supply and installation of
the system into the area, with no disruption to any of the
department. The Celsius EcoCooling system will save
over 60 tonnes of carbon per annum, this being very
important to the College as they have strict Carbon targets that they must meet.
