2. What is Cardiac Test
Cardiac testing is used to help stratify patients
thought to be at risk for symptomatic coronary
artery disease, specifically for short-term
complications such as myocardial infarction (MI)
or sudden cardiac death.

4. An electrocardiogram (EKG or ECG) is a test that checks
for problems with the electrical activity of your heart.

Why it is done:
1. Check the heart's electrical activity.
2. The cause of unexplained chest pain, heart attack.
3. Find the cause of symptoms of heart disease, such as shortness
of breath, dizziness, fainting, or rapid, irregular heartbeats.

5. ETT
An exercise tolerance test (ETT) records
the electrical activity of your heart whilst you exercise.
An exercise tolerance test (ETT) also known as an exercise
electrocardiogram (ECG) – helps to diagnose ischemic heart
disease, which is the common cause of angina and other heart
problems. It can also help to assess the severity of ischemic heart
disease.

6. Echo Color Doppler
Doppler echocardiography is a procedure that uses
ultrasound technology to examine the heart.
An echocardiogram uses high frequency sound waves to create
an image of the heart while the use of Doppler technology
allows determination of the speed and direction of blood flow
by utilizing the Doppler Effect.

It is a test in which ultrasound is used to picture out
the heart.
Echocardiography is an important tool in providing the doctors

Holter monitor is a small, wearable device that keeps
track of your heart rhythm.
Holter monitor figure out a heart rhythm problem.
If you haven't had any symptoms of an abnormal heartbeat.
If you have signs or symptoms of a heart problem,
such as an irregular heartbeat
Why it is done:

9. Fetal Echo
A fetal echo is a specialist, detailed scan of your baby’s
heart. This type of scan looks for heart defects.
Why it is done:
Fetal echocardiography is a test used to view your unborn
baby’s heart, similar to an ultrasound.
Your doctor will order this test if he or she needs a better view
of your baby’s heart before delivery.

10. Pro BNP
Pro BNP may be used to help detect, diagnose,
and evaluate the severity of heart failure.
Why it is done:
In a doctor's office, when a person has symptoms that
could be due to heart failure.
In the emergency room, when someone is in crisis and/or has
symptoms that could be due to heart failure and doctors need to
quickly determine if a person is suffering from heart failure or
some other medical problem.
To monitor the effects of therapy for heart failure.`
