Outsourcing of Credit Audit of High Value Loan Accounts to Retired Senior
Officers of the Bank
The Policy for Outsourcing of Credit Audit of High Value Risk Rated Loan Accounts
to Retired Senior Officers (Scale-IV & above) of our Bank was approved by the
Board in its meeting held on 28.12.2009 and was last reviewed by the Board in its
meeting held on 30/31.01.2014 and the highlights of the policy have been circulated
vide Credit Audit & Review Division Circular No.2/14 dated 10.02.2014.
2. The guidelines of the Policy, inter alia, provide as under:
a) ELIGIBILITY:
i) Honorably retired senior officers (Scale-IV & above) having satisfactory
past service record in our bank and experience of minimum 15 years or more in
the bank.
ii) The Sr. Officer must have experience of handling borrowal accounts
preferably in large borrowal accounts having exposure of Rs.10 crore and
above.
iii) The applicant shall be allowed to serve as CARD Auditor up to the age of 65
(Sixty five) years subject to his being medically fit to perform the required job of
credit audit.
b) REMUNERATION:
Consolidated remuneration of Rs.5000/- per account credit audited would be
paid, irrespective of time taken for local assignments as per their first
preference/options. However, for outstation assignments Rs.7500/- per account
shall be paid (i.e. for locations other than the location of first preference for audit
by outsourced auditor and outside the municipal limits of station of first
preference). This would be exclusive of Service tax, which will be borne by Bank.

2. Income Tax or any other surcharge etc. levied by the Govt. will be deducted at
source.
3. It has been decided to empanel local outsourced auditors for deficit areas, i.e.
areas where there are few or no auditors available. Applications are therefore
invited from eligible retired Sr. Officers (Scale-IV & above) of the bank for
empanelment as Outsourced CARD Auditor in the deficit areas only as per list
given in Annexure - I.
4. The eligible retired Sr. Officers (Scale-IV & above) of the bank, who wish to
apply for the assignment of credit audit in the deficit areas, may send their
applications, duly filled in, (hard copy and soft copy) with detailed Bio-data (as
per enclosed proforma - Annexure - II) to DGM, Credit Audit & Review Division
at the following address:

5. Applicants should ensure that station of preference given under first option
should be only from the list of deficit areas enclosed herewith, else the
application may not be considered.
6. The last date for receipt of the applications is 30.06.2014. Applications
received before the date of this circular and after the last date will not be
considered.
7. All the Circle Heads are advised to ensure that a copy of this circular is
displayed conspicuously on the Notice Board of Circle Office. Circle Heads may
also endeavor to intimate the retired Sr. Officers in their area about the
requirement.
The circular may be brought to the notice of the staff at large.
