Works Grading of site including construction of
concrete path, irrigation and new turf area as well as relocation of
the BMX track and demolition of timber retaining walls across the
site.
Throughout the construction program, the majority of the reserve
will be closed to the public. However, the North East corner of the
reserve will be maintained open for dog walkers and for
pedestrians accessing the Windsor Train Station. Once the new
paths are constructed, pedestrian access from the North West will
be re-opened. Pedestrian diversions will be in place to safely guide
people to their destinations and around the works site.
It is recommended that dog walkers use surrounding parks such as
Princes Gardens, Victoria Gardens (sunken oval only) or South
Yarra Siding to exercise their dogs during the construction
program

A. NO. vehicle access will be maintained
Q. Will “Pedestrian Access” be affected?
A. YES, pedestrian use of the park will be limited during
construction works. It is recommended that Gladstone Gardens be
used by pedestrians during this construction program.

A. NO. Parking will be maintained
Q. Will the surrounding facilities be affected?
A. NO. The works site is contained within the reserve with
pedestrian and vehicle access to surrounding facilities maintained
throughout the construction program
NO GO ZONE:
As part of Worksafe and OH&S practices parking and pedestrians
will not be permitted in the Construction Zone
The City of Stonnington’s Urban & Infrastructure Department
wishes to advise traders and residents that works to the Windsor
Siding Reserve will be commencing on Monday 2 May for a three
month period.
The contract for the works has been awarded to PTA Landscapes
and the works will include:
-Regrading of site
-Construction of new concrete paths
-Installation of new turf with irrigation
-Relocation of the existing BMX track and
-Demolition of existing retaining walls
These works form part of stage 1 for the Windsor Siding
Masterplan previously developed with the community.
Working hours are 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 5pm
on Saturday, if required.
PTA Landscapes and Stonnington Council will endeavour to
