Health care process needs improving
The Alberta Medical Association arguing against a sunshine list doesn’t resonate
with me at all. Regular Albertans who own businesses, work in the private sector
and invest in Alberta deserve to know the truth.
Compensation with public funds should never be a secret.
I’m wanting to see real changes to Alberta health care that are based on what
AMA members haven’t done.
Physicians occupy most of the senior leadership position here, so why have there
been so many missed opportunities to improve care?
Albertans need leadership, transparency and accountability.
Right now EMS and hospital ER processes are grossly inefficient — that’s a fact.
Paramedics sit waiting at Alberta hospitals for thousands of hours each month.
Why aren’t response times, red alerts and hallway wait times published?
I support the efforts of Health Minister Tyler Shandro and this government to
improve health care process.
