Floateis are large floating structures that function as hotels, with the ability to accommodate over 1000 people. There are five major floateis worldwide, including ones located in Cambodia, Serbia, Panama, Africa, and Thailand. These floateis offer hotel rooms, restaurants, bars and other amenities while floating on rivers or seas. Cruise liners are also a major part of the floating hotel industry, with some of the largest names being Royal Caribbean, Seabourn, Crystal, Silversea, and Disney, sailing to destinations around the world and accommodating thousands of passengers at a time.
