Redbridge Council
Project: Transformation of Adult Day Services in a Local Authority -
saving £1.25m over next four years and raising quality standards.
Solution:
● The apprentice analyzed the complaints received from residents about the quality of
day services. She used a fishbone analysis, conducted surveys, and met with
residents to understand their concerns.
● The apprentice used the Community portal to tell stories in data and made the
information accessible to different stakeholders, collaborating across the Council.
● Using her BTF skills to bring the right stakeholders from the right teams together,
she then tailored her approach to different stakeholders to gain their buy in and
collaborate on the framework change.
Impact:
● The apprentice is transforming processes for this project and collaborating with
teams across the council using her skills from the apprenticeship. By ensuring this
new framework is implemented, she will save the council 10% of the projected
costs.

● The apprentice worked with a client to embed a new healthcare system
within their hospital
● This required him to conduct business analysis and collaborate with
multiple client stakeholders to justify the potential ROI and ensure the
roll out was smooth
● The results have been transformative, with the new client highlighting
that the project has resulted in over £3.5m in costs savings and an
average reduction in patient waiting time of 32 minutes per patient
