The document describes a pipeline inspection process using three intelligent pigs. The first pig will travel in one direction to inspect the pipeline. The second and third pigs are bi-directional and can travel in both directions. The pigs will be launched from an onshore location and received at an offshore platform. A bulk dewatering process is described where chemically filtered fresh water equal to 2% of the pipeline length and compressed air will be used to clean and dry the pipeline after hydrostatic testing.
