A group of 15 engineering students at Ryerson University called Devices for Disabilities meet weekly to design and build devices to help students with disabilities. The club was started less than two years ago by economics student Edmond Farah and engineering graduate student Steven Jones. They are currently working on projects like cup holders for wheelchairs and bags that can attach to walkers. The club not only helps students with disabilities, but also allows engineering students to gain experience and build skills while contributing to their community.
