  • #5 Unity 5 is the new version which we’ll look at today. I put together a demo that I originally built in an earlier version of Unity. The new features in Unity 5 won’t be a huge difference if you have used previous versions, but there are some advances particularly in the UI department. Download Unity free at this URL.

  • #8 I feel like this is a good hybrid approach for quick development. It saves you the time of having to hand draw backgrounds, which can be very time consuming, but also saves you the trouble of modeling and animation 3d characters, which, likewise.
