The second day in Buenos Aires, the group visited several important landmarks: 1) The National Congress building, where they learned about the legislative activities that take place there. 2) The Pink House, the executive residence and office of the President of Argentina. They were able to see some of the most important rooms in the beautiful pink building. 3) The Plaza de Mayo, the main square in Buenos Aires flanked by important streets. Its origins date back to the founding of Buenos Aires in 1580. The sites provided an overview of the government and history of Buenos Aires.
